Car Park H

Car Park H

Car Park H viewing areas

The viewing areas will be signposted from the car park

V1 Easy access to a spectacular left hand bend with a very fast downhill approach

V2 An example of what makes spectating in Crychan forest unique. You can walk on prepared footpaths, and raised gravel surfaced banks in a complete loop of over 2 Km that links V2, V3, and V4 together. At V2 you can view a series of fast sweeping bends.

V3 A quarry area (which is close to the major parking area if you do not wish to walk the loop) where the wide space gives competitors the room to set the cars up for a square left junction.

V4 View from a raised bank of a very fast approach into a hairpin left.

Car Park H directions

Car Park H Dixies opens at 18.00 Friday 23rd October

An overnight parking area will be provided with toilets and catering. The catering unit will be open until midnight. At 06.00 on Saturday, movement will be allowed to positions nearer the stage.

From the North:  take the A483 from Builth Wells. On the Southern outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells take a left turn and follow the signposted route to the car park. Note: Part of this route will require you to travel over forest roads. If you arrive before 06.00 you will be directed into car park H which contains the Crychan overnight parking area. You will be able to move to car park G via an internal route after 06.00 if you wish.

From the South:  take the A483 from Llandovery. In Cynghordy turn right into the unclassified road and the signposted route. This is a difficult turn and is traffic light controlled. Congestion may occur at peak times.

Note:  Please help us to help you. Moving between Crychan and Halfway between runs is virtually impossible due to the congestion in and out of Crychan along the single track road that you came in by. The police have advised that if this occurs they will close this road and the car park exit totally. There is no need to attempt this move. Enjoy the Crychan stages to their full by visiting the variety of viewing points on offer
