Open from 07.00 on Saturday 13 November
The viewing areas will be signposted from the car park:
V5 A raised viewing area at the end of a very fast straight where competitors take a tight square left junction. From here you can then either continue to walk on a cleared path for some 800m to V6 or return to the car park road from which you can walk down a gravel path to V7.
V6 A spectacular downhill hairpin which offers some of the best viewing in Crychan.
V7 Over the past three years this viewing point has proved to be one of the most popular within the forest, It stretches for almost 1km on a raised gravel surface bank looking down on a series of tightening sweeping bends.
Directions from the North:
Take the A483 from Builth Wells. On the southern outskirts of Llanwrytd Wells take a left turn and follow the signposted route to the car park. Note: Part of this route will require you to travel over forest gravel roads. If you arrive before 07.00 you will be directed into Car Park H which contains the Crychan overnight parking area. You will be able to move to car park G via an internal route after 07.00 if you wish.
Directions from the South:
Take the A483 from Llandovery. In Cynghordy turn right into the unclassified road and the signposted route. This is a difficult turn and is traffic light controlled. Congestion may occur at peak times.
