Organisers of Wales Rally GB have cancelled the event's first stage - the 3.67km run through Hafren. The decision was made after the FIA Safety Delegate drove through the section earlier this morning. He decided there was still too much ice on the road for the stage to run safely.
Organisers are still hoping that the ice will thaw and the stage will be able to run as SS4, starting at 13.16.

Anybody who bought a ticket for Car Park A in Hafren is being offered free entrance to watch the second running of the Sweet Lamb stage this afternoon. That stage is due to start at 13.40.

The Sweet Lamb stage has been inspected by the FIA safety delegate and is currently approved to run.
