Leg: 2
Flash No: 12
Service: D

20: Mads Ostberg/Ole Kristian Unnerud
“Not too bad in that last stage (SS9) but we are struggling to get up to speed.”

22: Gareth Jones/David Moynihan
“That was better in there but we lost the rear diff in SS9.”

23: Mark van Eldik/Michel Groenewoud
“SS7 was nice because there was a bit of sun! But we slid off on a sharp left which lost us a bit of time.”

59: Guy Wilks/Phil Pugh
“We are driving in the middle of the road to stay out of trouble.”

34: Mark Higgins/Scott Martin
“No problems this morning – a nice clean run.”

53: David Higgins/Ieuan Thomas
“We had a puncture on SS7 after clipping a rock 2kms into the stage.”

47: Andreas Aigner/Klaus Wicha
“We got a puncture on SS7 and lost three minutes.”

46: Armindo Araujo/Miguel Ramalho
“We spun in SS8 with suspension problems...”

60: Gwyndaf Evans/Huw Lewis
“We lost the starter motor after the last stage but that was the only drama.”

36: Juho Hanninen/Mikko Markkula
“Those were better stages and we are having for a good run this afternoon.”

44: Alessandro Bettega/Simone Scattolin
“We broke our front suspension and sump after a heavy landing on the jump in SS7.”

41: Leszek Kuzaj/Craig Parry
“We’ve been having a problem with our tyres all morning and have no tread left!”

37: Spyros Pavlides/Denis Giraudet
“We have alternator problems – it sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.”

42: Evgeniy Vertunov/Georgy Troshkin
“This morning was not good – we had no brakes but are getting them looked at now at Service. Hopefully this afternoon things will improve for us.”

68: Jasper Van den Heuvel/Martine Kolman
“Not a good start for us this morning but we changed the set up and hope to do better this afternoon.”

52: Travis Pastrana/Bjorn Edstrom
“We were smooth at first but a mistake in the pacenotes cost us time after we went up a banking by mistake!”

33: Loris Baldacci/Rudy Pollet
“OK so far but we have a slight engine misfire which the mechanics are looking into.”

106: Matt Beebe/Gareth Roberts
“That was spot on, a good morning.”

32: Stuart Jones/Craig Parry
“We had a ripped pipe on the nearside front damper which is making the car handle like a pogo stick.”

120: Tony Jardine/Maurice Hamilton
“I’m fine, but, er, the car isn’t...”

101: James Wozencroft/Christopher Ridge
“We’re having a right battle with Matt (Beebe) but he has the power advantage.”

84: Darren Gass/Neil Shanks
“I have had a throttle problem but have coped well enough to get back to service.”

89: Rob Gill/Anders Howard
“In the second stage this morning I lost my brakes half way through which was tough.”

130: Steve Graham/Tony Graham
“At the approach to SS8 another car blocked that start and cost us a couple of minutes. We hope that will get sorted out.”

103: David Meredith/David Roberts
“That was a lot better but at the end of the last stage the strut was coming out of the top mount.”

113: Martin Laverty/Andrew Roughead
“That was excellent, just need to maintain a steady push.”

132: Darren Jones/Paul Burley
“Car is a bit ropey at the moment because the left strut is broken – we are also having oil pressure problems.”

105: Hugh Evans/Iestyn Williams
“That was not as bad as yesterday!”
