The List of Entries Received* for Wales Rally GB is published today, Thursday 1st November, detailing 115 teams representing 32 nations. Together with the addition of a new national event for the Armed Forces’ Land Rovers the overall entry shows an increase of 10 compared with 2006.

Within the international entry are 11 official Manufacturer entries (from Citroen, Ford and Subaru) and 26 World Rally Cars, including the Suzuki SX4 making its UK debut.

This entry is again the largest of this year’s 16 round World Rally Championship, continuing the popularity of Rally GB, which this year is celebrating its 75th Anniversary.

Drivers and co-drivers represent 32 Nations, including teams from Australia, Barbados, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, the USA and Zimbabwe.

A new National event which will run behind the international field on all three days has been added to accommodate amateur drivers from the Army, Navy and Air Force in self-prepared Land Rovers.

In addition to being the final round of the World Rally Championship for Drivers, Manufacturers and drivers of Production Cars, Wales Rally GB is also a double-points scoring event of the seven-round British Rally Championship. Six drivers are in contention for this coveted title. (For details of BRC driver standings visit http://www.rallybrc.co.uk/)
