| Citroen driver Dani Sordo has confirmed to reporters that he has been ordered to finish Wales Rally GB, even if it means losing a position, so that his team are guaranteed the Manufacturers' Championship in its battle with Ford. As a result, Sebastien Loeb has been cleared by the team to fight for the rally victory with Ford's Jari-Matti Latvala, even if it means taking big risks and potentially crashing out. The gap between Latvala and Loeb is now 2.2s. | |||||
