Day: 1 Flash: 4 Special Stage: SS5 Sweet Lamb 2 Distance: 5.11Km
Weather: Sleet
Road Conditions: Muddy in places

1: Sebastien Loeb/Daniel Elena
“There is so much mud. I tried very hard but there is just no grip. There is quite a bit of water in there now.”

3: Mikko Hirvonen/Jarmo Lehtinen
Rolled just after watersplash but car is back running although with radiator damage.
Spectators pushed him back onto stage. “Here we go again. This always happens to me on the last rally of the season.”

4: Jari-Matti Latvala/Miika Anttila
“Everything is OK. We saw the yellow flags for Mikko and backed off. The rain and sleet are just making it slippier.”

6: Chris Atkinson/Stephane Prevot
“It started hailing on the startline and just got worse.”

5: Petter Solberg/Philip Mills
Narrowly missed hitting Hirvonen and had to put two wheels off the road. “It is still incredibly tricky in there but we are going well.”

8: Matthew Wilson/Scott Martin
“Definitely better the second time through, so we are taking it steady and doing well for our 50th rally!”

12: Per-Gunnar Andersson/Jonas Andersson
“That was not good in there. The car stalled in the stage and we lost five seconds.”

11: Toni Gardemeister/Tomi Tuominen
“It is so hard to get proper traction off the start line because of all the water on the road.”

16: Conrad Rautenbach/David Senior
“It was really rough and cut up in there and we didn’t make up any time that we lost with a puncture in Myherin this morning.”

19: Khalid Al Qassimi/Michael Orr
“Very difficult in there now – it was snowing half way through the stage so I didn’t want to do anything  stupid.”

14: Henning Solberg/Cato Menkarud
“My car was bad this morning and I was not happy with it but it seems to be running better now.”

20: Barry Clark/Paul Nagle
“It’s good fun to come down and have a bit of a play to amuse the spectators!”

17: Sebastien Ogier/Julien Ingrassia
“It was difficult in there and we didn’t expect it to be as wet as this!”

46: Valentino Rossi/Carlo Cassina
“It is still a bit tricky in there. There is a lot of water and mud. We lost the rear bumper too.”
