Wales Rally GB is Go! Go! Go!

As the sun rose over Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium this morning, the cars and crews on this, the 75th Rally of Great Britain, prepared for the final round of the 2007 World Rally Championship in the Welsh forests.

Starting in Port Talbot for the first stage, the rally then heads into the notorious Resolfen and Rheola forests for the first of two morning stages before returning for Service in Swansea at 1pm.

The afternoon stages are a repeat of the morning, with plenty of action promised as Wales Rally GB gets underway!

Britain's round of the 2012 World Rally Championship, Wales Rally GB, will be held this year from the 13th - 16th September and will include an all new special stage at Celtic Manor Resort, venue of 2010's Ryder Cup.

Sebastien Loeb has made it seven wins in succession on Philips Rally Argentina to extend his lead at the top of the FIA World Rally Championship powered by Nokia.

Mikko Hirvonen and Jarmo Lehtinen have been excluded from the results of Vodafone Rally de Portugal, round four of the FIA World Rally Championship powered Nokia, elevating Mads Ostberg and Jonas Andersson to their maiden WRC wins.
