Car Park I viewing areas
V5 At the far end of car park I you have a number of choices. This is a new section of route and the Forestry Commission has created a raised viewing area at the end of a very fast straight where competitors take a tight 90 degree left hand bend. You can then either continue to walk on a cleared path for some 800m toV6 which is a downhill hairpin left, or return to the car park road and walk down a gravel path towards V7. V6 Due to access difficulties, this spectacular downhill hairpin has not been available as a spectator viewing area before. It is now and could be some of the best viewing in Crychan.
V7 Accessed from the gravel path from Car Park I or from the link from V6. Over the past two years this viewing point has proved to be one of the most popular within the forest. It stretches for almost 1km on a raised gravel surfaced bank looking down on a series of tightening sweeping bends that encourage some very entertaining driving.
