Spectators
Service Park, SA1 Swansea Waterfront
As in 2007, the Service Park will be located at the SA1 Waterfront in Swansea.  The focal point for the teams’ activity on event, it is also the location of Parc Fermé for the duration of the Rally.  The cars return to the Service Park seven times over the event which will give spectators the opportunity to see how teams change gearboxes, wheels and tyres in a frenzy of activity.

There will also be a stage at the Service Park featuring the following live entertainment:

Children in Need auction

Wales Rally GB will be supporting the BBC's Children in Need charity with a charity auction being held at 6.30pm on Friday 5th December.  Come along to the auction for the chance to bag yourself exclusive rally memorabilia!

Auction lots include Mikko Hirvonen’s signed race suit, a signed front wing from Petter Solberg’s Subaru Impreza WRC2007 from this year’s Rally Argentina, Matthew Wilson’s driving gloves, a tour of M-Sport’s headquarters and a Pudsey bear signed by Valentino Rossi.

Fuel Girls

A sassy, ultra-sexy, fire-breathing rock and roll, dance and stunt show, the Fuel Girls will be live on stage at the Service Park at 7pm on Friday 5th December.

Blondied

Blondie tribute act Blondied will be performing live on stage at 7.15pm on Friday 5th December

WRC Press Conference

The WRC live press conference will be held on the stage during the evening of Friday 5th December


Further attractions at the Service Park will include:

  • The Richard Burns Foundation will be presenting cheques for funds raised from the inaugural Richard Burns Memorial Rally at the Service Park at 2.30pm on Thursday 4th December.  There will be a low level, high speed RAF Tornado fly past of the Rally Service Area at Swansea at around 2pm on Thursday 4th December in honour of Richard Burns.
  • Firework display at 8.15pm on Friday 5th December
  • The Embarrassing Body Truck Stops
    Come along to the Service Park on Saturday 6th December for your chance to meet Doctors Christian Jessen and Pixie McKenna of the popular Channel 4 TV series Embarrassing Bodies.
  • Warrior tank courtesy of the Territorial Army
  • Trade stands selling merchandise and memorabilia
  • Catering stands and a bar
  • A giant TV screen featuring live driver interviews and rally footage

Friday 16.00 - 21.30
Saturday 07.00 - 23.00 
Sunday 06.30 - 15.00 

Please note there will be no park and ride service this year to the Service Park from the car park due to no turning circle being available.

There is a dedicated disabled area in the main car park, pus one disabled toilet and a viewing area for wheelchair users in the main spectator area.
