In 2007, the Ceremonial Start and Finish ceremonies will take place outside Law Courts in King Edward VIII Avenue, adjacent to Cardiff City Hall.  Viewing is free of charge.  With many of the former winners there to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the rally, and Cardiff's Winter Wonderland nearby, it should be a great occasion – and a great atmosphere.

An autograph signing session featuring the WRC stars of the Rally will take place here from 6pm on Thursday prior to the start ceremony.  At 6.30pm the autograph signing session will be extended to include drivers from the British Rally Championship, Production World Rally Championship and Rally Legends, including Juha Kankkunen, Rauno Aaltonen, Simo Lampinen, Nicky Grist, Robert Reid, Derek Ringer, Paddy Hopkirk, Stuart Pegg and Tony Mason.

James Hook, Wales' talented outside half, will be lending his support to the spectacular opening ceremony and waving off some cars.
