Car Park B viewing areas

This car park leads to the best viewing area on the stage. The cars approach a wide open hairpin left junction at high speed and then depart uphill. There are no trees to spoil your views and you can see the cars in action for about half a mile from the viewing gallery specially constructed on the hillside overlooking the hairpin.

Car park B opens at 07.00 Friday 30th November

Access to car park B is from the A4107 at Cymer.
Leave the M4 at Junction 40 and follow the A 4107 to Cymer.
Turn Left in Cymer and Follow EVENT SPECTATOR DIRECTION Signs to car park B.
It is also possible to access Cymer from the East along the A4061/A4107 from Treorchy.  In Cymer turn right and follow event spectator direction signs to Car Park B.

Car Park C viewing areas

Always popular this large car park on one of the highest sections of the stage gives easy access along specially constructed footpaths to a number of viewing areas in an area where there are no trees to spoil your view. The cars will be visible for long periods as they event spectator directione through three left hand junctions each separated by long fast straights.

Car Park C directions

Car park C opens at 07.00 Friday 30th November

Car Park C is situated on the top of the Rhigos Mountain on the A4061.

From the North:   leave the A465 at the Hirwaun roundabout following the signs for A4061 Treherbert and Treorchy. At the next roundabout take the first exit signposted A4061 Treherbert and Treorchy.  Car Park C is at the top of the hill.

From the South:  follow the A4061 up through Treorchy and Treherbert. Car Park C is at the top of the mountain.

Event spectator direction signs will be in place from both directions.

Do not attempt to park on roadside verges as Police will be very active in dealing with offenders.
